Feeling trapped by compulsive sexual behavior
Your sexual behavior can have a huge effect on your day-to-day life. How you behave sexually may leave you feeling powerless, depressed, anxious, and cause breakdowns in your relationships.
Compulsive sexual behavior can look like spending hours online viewing porn, or seeking sexual encounters in chat rooms or real life - and it all comes at the expense of your time, energy, finances, and relationships.
It’s also more common than you think, but it can be difficult to talk about. If you’re struggling to stop or control compulsive sexual behavior, it may be causing you to feel ashamed and guilty. For many, it can make you feel trapped.
If you feel your sexual choices are having a negative impact on your relationship, work, and family life, it could be time to seek professional help.

Client Testimonials
I didn’t feel like I was “just another client.” Sam saw strengths in me that intellectually I knew I had, but emotionally was incapable of accessing. He was able to foster in me the confidence to begin to believe.

Client Testimonials
“I absolutely love Sam. He has done wonders for us as a couple and for me individually. He’s a fantastic communicator, a gifted counselor, and a comforting presence to talk to and in front of.
I cannot say enough good things about the work he has done with me and continues to do with my wife and me.”

How Can Therapy Help?
We use a therapeutic approach that involves identifying the obsessive thoughts and the sexual compulsive behaviors that fuel the cycle.
The goal is not to create behavior modification. Rather, the goal is to help bring insight, self-awareness, and emotional development which lends to living a more abundant life and the ability to love maturely.
In the end, our goal is to teach connection and attachment in all facets of life.
To accomplish this, our team utilizes Patrick Carnes' 30 Task Model Approach to recovery which has been used for decades and all over the world.
