As far back as she can remember, Jennifer has always wanted to help people which made her eventual career in counseling a surprise to no one. Clients find Jennifer to be warm, approachable, and empathetic. In turn, Jennifer finds great joy in seeing lives renewed, rebuilt, and restored. She takes an "I'll meet you where you are, but I won't leave you there" approach to her work with clients.
Jennifer is a certified trauma professional and a Master Certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy Clinician who trains therapists across the country in this treatment for faster resolution of psychological distress resulting from trauma.
In addition to her trauma work, Jennifer specializes in providing faith-based care upon request. She has worked with all different types of concerns including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-injury, PTSD, and abuse recovery. She has experience with families in crisis, domestic violence victims, military veterans, and first responders.
Jennifer and her husband are the proud parents of two human kiddos and one fur baby, Obie. She doesn't have much free time, but when she does, Jennifer enjoys spending it with her family, playing music, writing, hiking, and recumbent road biking.
