An elective psychology class in high school is what initially fueled my interest in counseling and led me to pursue my chosen field as a therapist. I grew up in a chaotic home and I learned firsthand how our early experiences impact us as adults. I’ve also personally experienced the freedom that comes from tackling the past, and I recognize how integral counseling was in my own personal journey of healing and self-awareness.
I have a passion for working with clients who are ready to experience personal freedom from the pain of their past and whatever it is that is holding them back from living their best life whether that be anxiety, depression, loss, stress, or something else.
I am trained as an EMDR therapist which is a technique that helps clients heal from symptoms and emotional distress caused by memories of painful events.
I’ve been married for almost three decades and I’m a mom to 3 adult children. In my “free” time, I enjoy Broadway, gardening, baking, and reading.
